During the last 3.5 years, the SUN-to-LIQUID project established a unique research plant to demonstrate the thermochemical synthesis of liquid hydrocarbon fuels from water, carbon dioxide and high-flux solar radiation. To showcase this achievement SUN-to-LIQUID Demonstration Event was organised at the solar fuel facility in Móstoles (Spain).

SUN-to-LIQUID partners proudly presented the research facility and introduce to the significance of the project’s innovations for science, industry and the society. A final panel discussion with key stakeholders will further highlight the progress and perspectives of solar fuels.
